We believe in the power of the Bible
We believe the Bible is Gods message for us today and is applicable for every area of our lives.
Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live. (2 Timothy 3:16 Contemporary English Version)
We believe in the power of prayer
James 5:16 says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous one avails much. (Modern King James Version.)
As a church we believe that when we come and pray together, we release the Lord to do only what He can, changing people’s eternal direction, healing physical sicknesses, and releasing people from oppression, depression, and all kinds of addictions.
We believe in the power of connection
James 4:8 says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (Modern King James Version.)
As a church we believe that when someone chooses to connect with God, God will come and connect with them. In our church services we give people time to personally connect with the Lord because we know there are great benefits to be had when we do that. (See Matthew 6:33 Modern King James Version.)
We believe in the power of Mission
We believe every believer has a part to play in seeing others come to faith in Christ. As part of that belief, we financially support Christian organisations to fulfil their role in mission.
Our church is affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches denomination.
